Special projects promoting multilingualism in the social sphere — 2023.
With the aim of promoting and encouraging the use of Valencian in all areas of Valencian society, the Asociación Institut d’Estudis de l’Horta Valenciana has carried out an initiative within the subsidies for the promotion of multilingualism in the social field, organised by the Conselleria de Educación, Cultura y Deporte.
Within this project, financed with 2.706,21 €, the Association translated its institutional website into Valencian, making it available in both official languages of the Comunitat Valenciana. It also produced two videos entirely in Valencian—one promoting local consumption and another highlighting farmers’ work—and translated the document “The SDGs and What We Can Do to Achieve Them”. The entire institutional website, which, to date, was only available in Spanish, has been translated into Valencian.
Translation of the document on the SDGs
The document “The SDGs and What We Can Do to Achieve Them” was produced in Valencian. It had originally been written in Spanish to explain the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and actions that citizens can take to help achieve them. Both language versions are available in the Resources of our website.
Promotion of local consumption
A video has been prepared and disseminated to encourage local consumption.
Visibility of the work of farmers
A video was produced and shared to highlight the work of farmers.
