Subsidies aimed at promoting salutogenic initiatives at the local level – Year 2024.
This project has been funded with 1.770,64 € by Conselleria de Sanitat. File number: IS124.
This project promotes health and wellbeing through urban gardens, both at home and in shared spaces (schools, care homes, residents’ associations and similar settings). Training materials were produced to guide the planning, creation and management of these spaces.
Creation of a web section
A specific web section of the project has been created, in which the main benefits of starting an urban garden have been included and the training materials developed within the project are available for free download.
Preparation of training materials
Different materials have been developed with the aim of facilitating the start-up and maintenance of an urban garden.
Dissemination of the materials and the project
The materials were shared on social media and in an article on the Association’s website, and were sent directly to schools, care homes and day centres for older people, among other organisations.
