This project received €12,212.00 in funding from the Conselleria de Medio Ambiente, Agua, Infraestructuras y Territorio. Reference number: MAPRAN/2025/25.
As part of the project, the Association carried out the following activities:
Installing bat boxes
Nest boxes were installed to provide shelter and encourage bats to establish colonies in areas where their presence is particularly beneficial.
Installing artificial swallow nests
Artificial swallow nests were installed on façades and beneath eaves in places where birds had been observed or were likely to breed. To help people and birds live alongside one another, each nest includes a tray underneath to collect droppings.
Accessible videos and instructions
We produced accessible educational videos and downloadable easy-read guides with practical instructions so that anyone can build their own bat box or insect hotel.
Build an insect hotel
Follow the video step by step to create a shelter for beneficial insects.
Creating awareness-raising resources
We designed training and outreach resources about the project, bats, swallows, beneficial insects and the protection of their habitats.
